Throw deep to fix your reverse pivot
Golf is supposed to be fun, remember? So if you're in a rut, keep the game fresh with fun drills and creative swing images. For instance, if you're struggling with your weight shift, it's probably because someone told you to keep your head down or still. That advice usually leads to a reverse pivot (inset) and little power. Send your drives deep by letting your weight shift in the direction the club is swinging. Try mimicking the position a quarterback gets into when he throws downfield. During the backswing, that means shifting your weight to your back foot and allowing your head to move laterally away from the target.
